The new Duke Energy Edwardsport IGCC project is an integrated gasification combined cycle power plant that replaces smaller and older units already at the plant. The project includes large equipment, tanks, vessels, bins, industrial buildings, specialty ducting and piping to serve the power production plant.

CSD provided construction engineering services to the erector on this project. CSD analyzed the frames, tanks, and bins to be lifted to ensure proper handling during erection. CSD also provided lift planning, rigging layout, and lifting lug design. Due to the complexity of several critical lifts, CSD worked with the erector to plan each aspect of the lift and provide sealed lift drawings as required.
