The expansion to the downtown Milwaukee convention center, the Baird Center, will open in Spring of 2024. The expansion will double the size of the existing facility, including 300,000 square feet of exhibition space, 400 indoor parking spaces, and a new rooftop ballroom with outdoor areas.

CSD provided construction engineering support for the concrete podium, precast concrete structure, steel superstructure, cladding stability, lifting and rigging of heavy elements throughout the construction project. CSD’s valued clients, iron workers, and contractors commented on the great quality of the plans, responsiveness to resolve site issues, and ability to meet challenging deadlines.
