Scott Thompson joined CSD in 2008. He was promoted to Associate in 2014, Senior Associate in 2018, and Principal in 2021. Scott’s work includes the design and management of heavy industrial, commercial, and manufacturing projects in a Design-Build project model. These projects include the design and retrofit of crane runway structures, automotive facilities, and complex vibratory equipment supports. He has also been responsible for the design and management of complex connection design projects for major fabricators, as well as provided construction engineering services for the erection of steel structures.

Scott enjoys raising his four young children. He also enjoys fishing, residential remodeling, and golfing. He is a member and volunteer at St. Dominic Catholic Parish.
